After a few years of working in all manner of restaurants in both front and back of the house operations, Tony moved to a buyer position in a retail store, where he developed a fine wine program, climate-controlled storage, and a catering service division. Feeling he had a good base of work with different facets of food and wine, Tony began working with a small, Italian wine importer in the Mid-Atlantic, cutting his teeth as a young sales rep in Baltimore, MD. He was given the opportunity to move back to New England to be the GM/Director of Sales for a small distributor, and quickly jumped in. After seven years, Tony moved to Winebow where he worked his way from a territory manager to VP/GM of their wholesale operations in New England, until the company was sold to MS Walker in 2019.
Currently, Tony is the Director of Sales and Portfolio for Boston Wine Co, part of MS Walker, and is responsible for curating the portfolio of fine wines and spirits from around the world as well as leading the sales team.
