During his tenure at Grill 23, Alex significantly expanded the wine list, earning Wine Spectator's "Best of" Award of Excellence and recognition as a 2006 StarChefs.com Rising Star. He focused on elevating the Spanish and Italian wine selections while maintaining a diverse range of offerings. In 2010, Alex transitioned to wine importing with Winebow, where he continues to share his wine expertise and pairing knowledge.
