Dan has spent close to 40 years working in the Wine Trade in Boston, always in pursuit of more knowledge and creative ways to share it with others.
From being on the Founding Advisory Board of the Elizabeth Bishop Wine Study Program at Boston University, hosting the Celebrity Chef Demo Stage at the Boston Wine Expo for over 20 years,
co-founding and emceeing at the Marthas Vineyard Food & Wine Festival to extensive travels to getting his boots dirty in vineyards throughout the world.
All while working for 37 years at Ruby Wines here in Massachusetts as the Director of Special Events and Fine Wine Specialist.
He even worked in a vineyard and winery part time for two years while getting his degree in the Finger Lakes before making the move to Boston.
Dan’s has been co-hosting one of our Battle of Cabs dinners almost every year since the beginning of the Festival, as well as a number of Pop-Ups, Seminars and Master Classes any given year.
