Brick House Vineyards
We planted the first vines around the old brick house in the sunny spring of 1990. Pinot Noir first, then Chardonnay and Gamay Noir. Every vine was planted with a commitment that was rare in the Willamette Valley at the time: Brick House was to be a certified organic farm. By 2005, we had achieved Demeter Biodynamic certification. Today, our southeast facing slopes on Ribbon Ridge host 45,000 vines, producing lovely fruit for estate-grown wines. At Brick House, the pledge to farm ‘in harmony with Mother Nature’ remains our lodestar...a covenant with our land
