We planted the first vines around the old brick house in the sunny spring of 1990. Pinot Noir first, then Chardonnay and Gamay Noir. Every vine was planted with a commitment that was rare in the Willamette Valley at the time: Brick House was to be a certified organic farm. By 2005, we had achieved Demeter Biodynamic certification. Today, our southeast facing slopes on Ribbon Ridge host 45,000 vines, producing lovely fruit for estate-grown wines.
