Brick House Vineyards

In 1990 Doug Tunnell planted the first vines of our Ribbon Ridge estate: Pinot Noir, then a small section of Chardonnay, and eventually one of the earliest plantings of Gamay Noir in the Willamette Valley. Beginning with a pledge to forsake conventional herbicides and chemicals, the entire estate was certified for organic production, adding Demeter BioDynamic certification in 2005. It is both how we farm and how we think about our role as stewards of this land. Today, our team remains rooted in a steadfast commitment to growing and making wine in harmony with mother nature.
