Darioush

Darioush is synonymous with fine wines and hospitality experiences worthy of the world stage. Influenced by tradition and energized by modern technique, the Darioush estate is comprised of 120-acres in total, spanning the cooler microclimates of Southern Napa Valley from high atop Mount Veeder to Oak Knoll and south of Stag’s Leap. Founded in 1997 by Iranian-immigrant Darioush Khaledi-- an avid collector of Bordeaux— the eponymous winery focuses intently on blending vineyard sites and varietals to achieve balance, concentration and refinement. While fine wines reflect great vineyards, Darioush believes they also express the individualism and character of the people behind them.

Acclaimed for producing Bordeaux-inspired wines with deep character, concentration and finesse, Darioush is also known for their unique, small-lot offerings of Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Shiraz.  Early vintages of their flagship wine, Signature Cabernet Sauvignon, were applauded by critics, capturing a coveted spot on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list, and continue to garner praise for their style and distinction. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate recently bestowed 99 points to the estate’s crown jewel, 2016 Darius II Cabernet Sauvignon, deeming it “sparks both hedonistic and cerebral appreciation.”
